Case Study
Garden Design and Landscaping
A complete garden design and landscaping of a rear garden. The client required a new wrap-around patio at the rear of the house, with a side access path, a smaller patio area at the bottom of the garden joined by another pathway under a loggia – around 130 sq metres in total. The patio was specified as Indian Sandstone with granite setts around all edges.
A new retaining wall was constructed to support the front edge of main patio area and secondary patio area. The existing sloping lawn area was extensively landscaped, levelled with approximately 25 tonnes of graded topsoil prior to turfing, with retaining sleeper walls erected on one side. Extensive drainage reworking and block-work was required at the side of the property prior to laying the patio. New fencing was constructed to the side pathway and at the rear of garden.
The Patio was pointed with a brush in compound in a complementary colour.
